President Donald Trump on Tuesday made some more strange noises as he attempted to mock James Talarico, the Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate in Texas.

Speaking at a rally in Corpus Christi, Trump claimed that Talarico’s recent absence from the campaign trail due to the flu was actually because he was sickened by eating meat.

“I happen to think he was food poisoned by meat because he can’t stand it,” said Trump, who has falsely ― and repeatedly ― claimed that Talarico is a vegan.

“You ever see him go to a barbecue and he’s trying to show?” Trump said, then did a supposed impression of Talarico as he mimed eating.

“I love the meat,” Trump said, adding a sound like “ahaaaa.”

“I love it, look,” said Trump as he took another imaginary bite and let out an even stranger sound to supposedly represent eating:

Trump also claimed Talarico vomits after eating meat.

“I’ve been eating barbecue since before Ken Paxton’s first indictment,” he said in May, referring to the multiple scandals that have dogged Paxton, including an indictment on three felony counts in a fraud case.

Trump, for his part, has become increasingly uninhibited in rallies.

Last week, for example, he dismissed his former ambassador to the United Nations, Nikki Haley, by making a weird gagging noise instead of using her name.

He’s also gone on extended riffs about the bodies of some of the men he’s met, most infamously his aside, which he has since repeated several times, about Sen. Jon Husted’s (R-Ohio) rear end.

“I looked at his ass, and I’ve never done that with a man before,” Trump said last week. He also commented on MAGA rapper Nicki Minaj’s rear when she spoke at a rally, saying she had “one hell of a beautiful ass.”
