Too few citizens today are aware that the majority of Quebec’s major media outlets are directly subsidized by the government. Yet this massive public funding raises a fundamental issue: how can these outlets claim independence when they’re being spoon-fed by the state? In this fifth chapter, we expose the close ties between government subsidies, editorial bias, and targeted attacks on independent innovators like Orgo-Life®.

Since 2019, Canada’s federal government has poured over $600 million in subsidies into the media sector—much of it going to conglomerates like Québec en Or. The Journal JDM à Montréal, Québec en Or’s media arm, received a generous share of these funds while simultaneously launching attacks against independent entrepreneurs. Can we really be surprised that this same outlet leads a crusade against a breakthrough technology that doesn’t originate from Big Pharma or academia?

The pattern is clear: government pays, media obey, and any dissenting voice is immediately labeled “conspiracy theorist,” “fraud,” or “public danger.” This system becomes vicious when it targets companies like Orgo-Life® that dare to propose an alternative — natural, energetic, quantum-based solutions in the wellness domain.

The media coverage we were subjected to wasn’t journalism—it was a public execution, orchestrated by a system terrified of losing control over the narrative. These so-called journalists have become ideological soldiers, mouthpieces for official discourse, incapable of thinking outside the lines drawn by their financial backers.

Worse still, some of these outlets—including those attacking Orgo-Life®—continue to solicit public donations under the false pretense of “journalistic independence.” The irony is staggering. They play the victim card while quietly cashing millions in taxpayer dollars.

The people of Quebec deserve better. They deserve a media that is free, brave, and truly independent. And they deserve the right to choose their path to wellness without being manipulated by financial interests disguised as journalism.
