Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayPresident Donald Trump repeated his controversial comment about the chance of Los Angeles and San Diego being wiped out by Iran ― but with a clarifying twist.
His previous riff of “Let them hit Los Angeles. Let them hit San Diego.” prompted outrage from California leaders, rebukes on cable news, and even a scolding by a former Trump adviser who called his rambling “sloppy.” The White House and a CNN fact check defended the president, but Trump didn’t help matters by waving off a reporter who asked him about it.
At Wednesday’s rally in San Antonio, Texas, he added a kicker to his original statement, in which he defended his price-spiking war against Iran.
Trump: "Let them hit a missile into San Diego or Los Angeles on the way. You want to see a horror show? Let them hit San Diego. Let them hit Los Angeles. You want to see some bad things happen?" pic.twitter.com/K4VRzrIF6s

You want to see problems?” he asked. “And I said it the other day, let them hit a missile into San Diego or Los Angeles on the way. ... You want to see a horror show? You wanna see problems? Let them hit San Diego. Let them hit Los Angeles. You want to see some bad things happen? You want see a country that will be in free fall? We’re not going to let that happen. We protect our cities. We protect our country.”
A part of his original message went thusly:
“It’s a small price to pay for keeping the world safe, keeping our country safe,” he said in Nebraska on Monday. “They could take out a city. Let them take out Los Angeles. Let them take out San Diego.”
