Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayThe hosts of MS Now’s “The Weekend” cracked up Saturday after reviewing some of President Donald Trump’s recent comments about Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, the Republican nominee for Texas senator.
Eugene Daniels, Jonathan Capehart and Jacqueline Alemany discussed Republican efforts to boost support for Paxton, including Trump traveling to Texas to drum up enthusiasm.
“Frankly, he probably should stop, because he’s bullying Paxton every time he goes,” Daniels said. “Every time he goes, he’s like, ‘Ugh, I hate the way you dress. Ugh, he’s kind of boring.’”
The hosts then played two clips of Trump making those kinds of comments about Paxton last month on separate occasions at the White House.
Watch hosts of “The Weekend” react to Trump roasting Paxton below:
In one clip, Trump said, “We have a guy named Ken Paxton, and some people don’t like the way he dresses. Or some people don’t like the way he interviews or talks.”

In a second clip, Trump noted, “Paxton, you might not like the way he dresses. And I say this, it’s so insulting to him, but I might as well say it. You might not like the way he looks. You might not love his television interviews.”
He then praised Paxton as the “best attorney general in the country,” but followed it up with another dig.
“Perhaps that speaks a lot louder than the suit he’s wearing,” Trump said. “That doesn’t look so great.”
The hosts were laughing when the camera cut back to them.
“What in—“ Daniels began. “If that is what love looks like, baby, let it not find me.”
