Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayPresident Donald Trump told reporters Saturday that he would “make a decision” about whether to livestream the execution of mass shooter Nidal Malik Hasan.
“There are two thoughts: don’t show it, and show it,” Trump said. “Because you know, by showing it, maybe other people won’t be doing what he did.”

On Thursday, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth announced his plan to make the execution available for public viewing. Hasan, a former Army major who killed 13 people and wounded 32 others in a 2009 shooting rampage at Fort Hood, is slated to be put to death by firing squad in December.
The plan to livestream the death has drawn widespread backlash, with even Vice President JD Vance saying if it happens, he won’t be watching it.
Trump said Friday night that he “wasn’t involved” in the livestreaming decision, and suggested on Saturday that he would make the final call.
“I’ll make a decision ultimately,” he said. “I know what the military would like to do, but we’ll make a decision.”
Also on Saturday, Trump shared support for the livestream on Truth Social, posting an article saying megachurch pastor Robert Jeffress favored the option.
