Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by Adpathway“Late Night” host Seth Meyers on Wednesday pinpointed the annoying part of President Donald Trump’s recent comments about letting Iran “take out” Los Angeles or San Diego.
While much criticism was levied at Trump for the comments, with many suggesting the president wanted Iran to bomb the two California cities, Meyers seemingly took the high road – only to rage about the remarks immediately afterward.
“I think what Trump was trying to say is that if Iran had a nuclear weapon, they could take out Los Angeles or San Diego, which is why the war and the high prices caused by the war are a small price to pay in comparison,” Meyers said.
“But really quick, WHY IS IT ON US TO TRANSLATE THE PRESIDENT’S WORDS INTO PLAIN FUCKING ENGLISH?!?” he added.
Meyers said it’s extremely concerning that someone with Trump’s power speaks in “mangled incoherent half-sentences that no one can understand and works out premises on the fly like a comedian at open mic night.”
He added that even if Trump didn’t mean he wanted Iran to bomb San Diego and Los Angeles, it’s still a major problem that virtually no one truly understands what the president was saying.
