Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayThe Trump White House on Wednesday used the classic holiday song “Jingle Bells” to send a “message to criminal illegal aliens” in a video that was slammed as cruel.
A clip shared on X, formerly Twitter, showed the detention of alleged undocumented immigrants, set to the classic Christmas tune and cut with footage of President Donald Trump saying they must return “back to the places from which they came” via “a free flight out of our country” to “any foreign country as long as it’s not here.”
The jingle of the chains used to detain the people formed part of the video.
The clip was captioned:
“Jingle bells, jingle bells,
Jingle all the way!
Oh, what fun it is to ride
on a free flight out of our country”
Trump supporters praised the video, but critics snapped back, some writing that “cruelty is the point” and that the clip was “very far beneath the White House.”
Earlier in the day, the Trump White House shared old footage of Trump entering the ring at a wrestling event, set to the 50 Cent song “Many Men (Wish Death),” with the caption “Walking into my work Christmas party knowing that we won the election and haven’t stopped winning since.”
“And that’s a very Merry Christmas to you!” it captioned the clip.
