President Donald Trump pulled a familiar rabbit out of his hat, bragging that he “aced” a series of cognitive tests at a midterm rally in Ohio on Wednesday before using the big talk to knock the GOP.

“Obama couldn’t have passed them; Biden we don’t even talk about,” Trump began, claiming to be a “very high IQ person” and the only president who agreed to take the “hard” examinations.

He then added, “Republicans wouldn’t have passed them. I won’t mention names ’cause I’m supposed to be a nice Republican.”

Trump is believed to be referring to the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA), a short exam designed to be easy and flag signs of cognitive impairment, not to measure high intelligence, as the president has claimed.

He launched into his IQ/cognitive test comments while addressing the controversy around Alaska’s U.S. Senate race, a matter playing out thousands of miles away from the site of the rally, where Sen. Jon Husted’s (R-Ohio) and his “ass” is fighting to stay in office despite trailing in a string of recent polls.

Critics on social media clowned the president over his latest brain boast, including progressive Alex Cole, writing on X, “Obama graduated magna cum laude from Harvard Law School. Trump wants a standing ovation for passing a cognitive screening.”

Another argued that he’s calling Republicans “stupid to their faces” once again, a nod to the president teasing his supporters over their ride-or-die support earlier this month.

And one user put it this way: “Only a low-IQ person would think that cognitive tests have anything to do with IQ.”
