Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayOwen Shroyer, a former host of right-wing conspiracy website Infowars, ripped into President Donald Trump, who pardoned him for his role in the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol, after listening to Trump’s speech Wednesday night.
“This is Trump’s worst speech yet. He has to start by bashing Biden because he needs a fall guy. He then talks about stopping political corruption, 0 arrests,” Shroyer wrote on X, formerly Twitter.
This is Trump's worst speech yet.
He has to start by bashing Biden because he needs a fall guy.
He then talks about stopping political corruption, 0 arrests.
He says he beat special interests but they bought him.
He then speaks like its 2024 & we didn't just win an election.
The president’s long-winded year-end address to the nation was not well received by some viewers, who were left wondering what the point was.
Similar to many of Trump’s remarks, he boasted claims about his administration’s agendas, including the economy and immigration, and unsurprisingly attacked his predecessor, Joe Biden.
“He’s stuttering. Confidence fading. Can’t lie through the reality anymore,” Shroyer continued in a follow-up post. “Never heard Trump like this. Not as comfortable or charismatic as he was last night. Very telling. His base has turned. He knows it. Ego damaged. Swagger lost.”

— Owen Shroyer (@OwenShroyer1776) December 18, 2025In a longer video, Shroyer went on to attack the president over the administration’s handling of several key issues, especially the economy. The right-wing personality, who holds hundreds of thousands of followers, claimed that the talking points Trump said “can just easily be disproven,” adding that “all of that is just slop.”
He continued, “No, the U.S. economy is not doing great. You can’t lie your way through that. You can’t tell Americans that the economy is great as if they don’t know they’re financially struggling themselves, as if they don’t know that.”
Shroyer then moved on to address Trump’s appearance, saying in the video, “He was not his usual confident self. He seemed to be speed-reading. The charisma was gone. The aura was gone, the swagger was gone, and the message was stale. There was nothing new.”
He told followers he believes “things are really starting to get real for this administration and for Trump,” theorizing that others in the president’s circle could follow in FBI deputy director Dan Bongino’s steps and depart.

Shroyer’s criticism of the president is not new. The former host left Infowars in September, following a dispute with its founder, Alex Jones, who he said called him “too anti-Trump.” At the time, Jones denied Shroyer’s allegations.
“So I don’t know where the White House and the administration goes from here with all of this, but I’m going to tell you, I think that this month, and then going into January, this is where, you know, the MAGA divide, Civil War, whatever you want to call it,” Shroyer said Wednesday. “This is the moment. This is the official split.”
