Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayPresident Donald Trump’s social media team is facing heat from gamers over a meme posted on the official White House X account.
The AI-generated image showed a buff Trump holding an American flag in the style of the “Destiny 2” game. Trump has a power level of 4700 ― well beyond the game’s limit ― and equipment such as “ripped suit sleeves” and a B-2 bomber.
“Eyes Up, Guardians,” the post read, quoting a famous line from the game.
But the message couldn’t have come at a worse time for fans, as Bungie ― the Sony-owned company behind “Destiny 2” ― announced mass layoffs and the end of further development of the game.
Gamers were not happy, and they let Trump and the White House know it:
I am utterly disgusted. Any other day this would be cringe, but TODAY of ALL days? Minimum disrespectful as fuck.
