Mystery at Blind Frog Ranch - Is It Over?

Many of us have followed the seasons of "Mystery at Blind Frog Ranch" on Discovery Channel. It has the action-filled pursuit of treasure hunting mixed with the unexplained paradoxes at Skinwalker Ranch. 

I was saddened to learn that Chad Ollinger, the son of property owner Duane Ollinger, was not only arrested for trying to outrun the police, but apparently ended up killing his bunkmate in jail. 

Apparently, there was a lot more going on in the background with Chad. These kind of behaviors don't just come at a whim. We know he had a hard edge and high thrill factor, a man of many talents and devotion to his dad. We may never get answers to what made him snap, but as his case unfolds, more and more will be revealed. 

What does this mean for the series? Undoubtedly, Discovery would have a hard time finding a way to address Chad's absence and with Ryan Skinner, researcher, leaving the series, there is less crew with a vested interest in the family project.

The last season ended in a very exciting place, but nothing has leaked out so far about any significant finds.

My heart goes out to Duane, a very proud father, who is no doubt dealing with a world of hurt right now.
