CNN’s Kaitlan Collins took a “never say never” stance when asked if President Donald Trump’s rude outbursts at reporters might ever send one of them over the edge.

Appearing on Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live” on Tuesday night, host Andy Cohen told Collins he thinks it’s practically inevitable that Trump’s insults will eventually provoke someone in the White House press corps to lose their professional cool.

“It seems to me that at some point someone is going to break and say F-you to him or something like that,” Cohen argued, noting that the president has been particularly vicious toward female reporters.

“I mean, do you ever see that happening? Like, is there someone in the press corps that you look at and think they’re going to break?” he asked Collins.

Collins told Cohen she’d “never say never,” but that reporters know their job is to ask the questions and not make themselves the story — though she did also remind everyone, “We’re people, too.”

The journalist also pointed out that Trump’s pettiness usually hurts him much more than anyone else.

“When he told me I should smile more when I was asking him about sexual assault victims, in that moment, I was just thinking, ‘You know this is not going to be received well by people in terms of the line of questioning of what it’s about.’ Like, I knew how other people would respond,” she said.

It didn’t take long for Trump to help prove Collins’ point.

Less than a day after her Bravo appearance, Collins faced the president’s wrath during a Wednesday press briefing in the Oval Office.

When another reporter asked Trump about the administration’s decision to drop his controversial “Anti-Weaponization Fund,” the president fumed as he gestured at Collins and said, “CNN’s a very corrupt organization, with a corrupt reporter standing right there, never smiles.”

“She never... a young beautiful woman [who] never smiles,” he went on. “I never see a smile off her face. I see her standing there with hatred in her eyes.”

When Collins addressed the incident hours later on her evening show, “The Source with Kaitlan Collins,” she focused on the meat of the matter: Trump had refused to say whether he was dropping his controversial fund for good.
