Hi!

To submit the work for the event you will use the submit option on our tumblr page. The submission box allows you to pick the type of post it will be (text/link/image) and shows that the information comes from your page.

Once we have the submission we will add it to the posting schedule for the weekend.

For what type of thing you are submitting you have a couple of different options.

You can, as you mentioned, post the story on AO3 and then submit the link and info on which prompt you are drawing from.

If you want to you can also submit the work itself via the submission box. Many folks do it this way. As the event can act as a sort of premier for the work and then they post it/reblog it other places once it is out.

If you are writing and your story is multi-chapter we recommend submitting each chapter individually as it helps to fill the weekend with more content for everyone to enjoy.

Because we try to schedule a time for all of the works to go out we don’t reblog posts from other pages as part of this event. We do other events where folks post and tag us to participate but not for this one.

Historically, we tend to have enough conten to have a post an hour for the majority of the weekend. We hope for at least that again this year but that will of course depend on what all there is to share.

This is also why we ask folks to submit by Friday, the 9th if they are able so we can best make a schedule to ensure things aren’t just clumpped together either all at the beginning or the end. ( If you are not done by then you are more than welcome to submit during the weekend still, or even after if needs be. In the end we just want to help you get your work out there)
