Retiring Sen. Thom Tillis (R-N.C.) had tough words for Donald Trump should the president dox him like he recently did Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.).

While Tillis was on “The View” Monday promoting his new book, “How to Lose Friends and Antagonize Presidents,” the panel noted that Trump has previously called Tillis a “loser” and taken credit for forcing him out of the Senate.

Wondering if the senator was concerned about Trump “coming after” him because of his book, panelist Ana Navarro joked, “He’s gonna give your phone [number] away after this.”

But Tillis said he was prepared if Trump gets trollish.

“With all due respect, I got his number, too,” he told the panel.

While Tillis has pushed back against Trump in recent weeks, Whoopi Goldberg questioned his general support for the president.

“I have to say, you kind of voted for a lot of these folks. You also call [Trump] out for being a snowflake. So have we. And yet, you still say you support him and call him an amazing political talent. What am I missing?”

Tillis cited Trump’s two national election wins as proof that “he resonates with people, and I think he’s a great political force.”

He added: “I’m hoping we can do that for good, and I think we’re going to see the results of being out of touch with some of the voters in November.”
