GASLIGHTING: Gaslighting is a form of psychological manipulation in which the abuser attempts to sow self-doubt and confusion in their victim's mind. Typically, gaslighters are seeking to gain power and control over the other person, by distorting reality and forcing them to question their own judgment and intuition. (rather sounds like Biden's administration and cults....)

If you're doing a marathon day of thematic movies, gaslightings is a wonderful one.

The Screaming Woman: 1972. Olivia de Havilland. (Ray Bradbury movie).

A wealthy former mental patient goes home to her estate to rest and recuperate. While walking the grounds one day she hears the screams of a woman coming from underneath the ground who has been buried alive. Her family, however, refuses to believe her story, and sees the incident as an opportunity to prove the woman's mind has snapped so they can take control of her money.
