The president launched into a muddled riff on the national ideal during an address at the McDonald’s Impact Summit in Washington, D.C.
“We’re going to make the American dream — a word that, two words that you didn’t have. You didn’t have those two words,” said Trump.
He continued: “Remember when Biden said, ‘It’s all about three words: the American dream.’ You don’t want to ever get in that situation. Remember that? That was not good. It’s all about three words: American dream.”
Online, commenters mocked the moment as a “9-layer dip of batshittery” and sarcastically thanked him for keeping “South Park” writers in a job.
