Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayThe body of David Fouts was discovered in a ditch in Indiana, several days after he was last seen alive. DNA testing by one of the world's leading mycologists found a lethal amount of mushroom chunks in Fouts' body, which eventually led the coroner to conclude that poisoning was most likely the cause of his death. During the investigation, his wife Katrina Fouts was found to have searches and screenshots of the death cap mushroom on her cellphone. This, alongside more circumstantial evidence saw her charged with murder, conspiracy, and failure to report a corpse five months after David Fouts' death. Hamilton County Sheriff Detective Greg Lockhart sat down with 7NEWS Spotlight to recount what happened in April of 2020. *Connect with 7NEWS Spotlight online* Visit 🔗https://7news.com.au/spotlight 7NEWS Spotlight Podcast 🎧 http://smarturl.it/7NewsSpotlight Facebook https://www.facebook.com/7newsSpotlight/ Instagram https://instagram.com/7newsSpotlight/ TikTok https://www.tiktok.com/@7news.spotlight 7NEWS combines the trusted and powerful news brands, including Sunrise, The Morning Show and 7NEWS.com.au, delivering unique, engaging and continuous coverage on the issues that matter most to Australians.
