Fellow independents, please heed an 'independent-independent' as your 'swing vote' is courted for the 2026 congressional midterm elections.
I'm not a 'Trumper'. If ever there were a politician where my case-by-case approach to issues applies, it's the 47th President of the United States.
Irreconcilable differences on certain issues aside, one where we wholeheartedly agree is how he fights crime. His National Guard deployments in DC, Memphis, Tennessee and New Orleans, Louisiana have yielded impressive results, with District of Columbia numbers the most impressive of all:

Protecting lives from violent community treason is the ultimate measure of a politician. We who value safety are devalued in jurisdictions where statistics are fudged to artificially reduce numbers.
We're told in so many words not to believe our 'lying eyes'. That has consequences at the polls.
Federalized state troops supplemented by agents surged from federal agencies is real crime fighting. First-person accounts of safety returned to unsafe areas are metrics we value.

This year we can either choose Democrats essentially saying 'we like our crime the way it is' or Republicans who've backed taking the fight to pampered criminals. It's not a matter of liking particular politicians or parties.
It is one of liking results.
I have always felt the National Guard should be used for crime suppression. Advocating in places filled with too many traitors to safety led to this conclusion.
People are tired of feeling like hostages in their neighborhoods. Or being treated like second-class citizens whose crime concerns are dismissed.
Independents feeling this way will likely swing their vote toward the GOP.
Democrats had every opportunity to actively pursue gangs and repeat offenders but chose not to. They may pay a costly political price for their inaction.
President Trump's homeland security policy on deportation is a big win for mass migration opponents. For four long years citizens were told by Biden's handlers that migrants were the new privileged class in America.
The 'autopen' administration arrogantly brought in millions of illegal aliens. The influx was placed in mostly Black, lower income areas without a second thought. This political slap in the face still stings independent Black citizens resenting it.
Beyond offended Black independents are targeted White conservatives and right-leaning moderates. Status quo demographic and political power is slated for extinction. Leftists hope a Brown wave of migrants will wash away the pale right once and for all.
If the left wins Congress and the White House, they must grant illegal aliens the right to vote in federal elections. Doing this will lock in Democratic Party rule for generations, perhaps forever.
As a result, Trump's aggressive deportation operation is met by hysterical progressive protests. These loud mouths are strangely silent about the absence of Black participants who pounded the pavement years ago.
Nor has the Alex Pretti shooting by a DHS agent moved independents to broadly hit the streets. Not even ones who felt the deceased mans' Second Amendment and civil rights were violated.
For voters who are neither Republican nor Democrat who don't support living in a majority migrant country, voting Republican is the only option.
