Why on earth is the belief or worship of ANY religion taught in schools? By all means teach what different religions believe but children should be free to come to their own conclusions about life and reality without being pushed in any direction by the state – and I say the same for ALL of them, Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Hinduism, the lot. It’s not religious ‘education’. It’s belief indoctrination no matter which religion is involved. Why does anyone think that followers of particular religions overwhelmingly come from those countries and regions where that religion dominates or from families in which that religion dominates? Indoctrination from birth and pressure to conform with a particular narrative.
