This is a 5-minute clip from my documentary, Ayahuasca: The Medicine of Awakening, exploring my personal experience with ayahuasca and the traditions and perspectives surrounding this ancient Amazonian medicine. Watch the full documentary here: https://youtu.be/QSP8Jw5y0fk?si=m6F2b8hL7gRraW6R During this experience, I came face-to-face with what felt like my own death. I wasn't physically dying, but in that moment, the experience felt completely real. I was confronted with the fear of death, the loss of control, and ultimately the question of whether I could completely let go. What followed became one of the most profound parts of the experience and gave me a very different perspective on life, death, surrender, and what it means to be alive. This video is not intended to promote or encourage the use of ayahuasca or other psychedelic substances. Ayahuasca can involve serious psychological and physical risks, is not appropriate for everyone, and may interact dangerously with certain medications or health conditions. My intention in sharing this experience is educational and documentary in nature: to offer an honest account of what I experienced and to explore the cultural, spiritual, and ceremonial contexts in which ayahuasca has traditionally been approached. The full documentary goes much deeper into these traditions, the people who work with the medicine, and the importance of understanding ayahuasca within a broader context rather than treating it simply as a psychedelic experience. If you're interested in ayahuasca, plant medicine, psychedelics, consciousness, spirituality, ego death, awakening, or indigenous traditions, I hope this offers a thoughtful window into the experience. #Ayahuasca #PlantMedicine #Psychedelics #Consciousness #SpiritualAwakening #EgoDeath #Documentary Keywords: ayahuasca experience, what ayahuasca feels like, ayahuasca documentary, ayahuasca ceremony, ayahuasca ego death, ayahuasca death experience, plant medicine, psychedelic experience, Amazonian traditions, indigenous plant medicine, consciousness, spiritual awakening, ego death, psychedelic documentary
