Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayOne of Donald Trump’s controversial, taxpayer-funded ads has been given a brutal reworking by a veterans group.
VoteVets, a progressive political action committee representing veterans and military families, spoofed Trump’s “final battle” ad — a clone of a video he’s shared for years and one of three taxpayer-funded spots released ahead of the 2026 midterms that have drawn anger this week.
Trump’s original spot shows him walking down a hallway and saying:
“This is the final battle, with you at my side, we will demolish the deep state, we will expel the warmongers from our government, we will drive out the globalists, we will cast out the communists, marxists and fascists. We will throw off the sick political class that hates our country. We will rout the fake news media and we will liberate America from these villains, once and for all.”
In the VoteVets version, Trump walks down the hallway but with a very different message.
A voice sounding like Trump’s says:
“This is the final battle. With you all turned against me, we will lose the House. We will lose the Senate. They will end my war, bring prices down, drive out the corrupt, cast out the incompetent. And stop us from using your tax dollars for my vanity political ads. Your vote will liberate America, from me.”
As the parody plays, a Reuters headline flashes onscreen reading: “Trump approval falls to record low of 32% as high costs bite.”
A screenshot from Fox News then appears showing Trump alongside his sons, Eric and Donald Trump Jr., above the caption: “Biggest grift of all time.”
And as the reworked voice-over talks about casting out “the incompetent,” footage of Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth comes onscreen.
