Captain Al Francis is a retired Trans World Airlines (TWA) Boeing 747 captain. Captain Francis was the Captain Representative and Council Chairman for Air Line Pilots Association Council #024, serving as the head union representative for all TWA pilots who flew international routes. Captain Francis was involved with the initial phase of the investigation into the crash of TWA 800 on July 18, 1996.
