Donald Trump on Tuesday promoted the White House’s depiction of his World Cup final appearance, sharing a video to social media that doesn’t include the moment he stuck around onstage as Spain hoisted the winner’s trophy.

The hype video — which the White House initially shared Monday and Trump later blasted out on Truth Social — shows shots of Trump waving to fans as he exits a stadium tunnel before eventually flashing to footage of him awarding medals to the victorious Spanish soccer players just ahead of the trophy presentation.

The video then jumps to a clip of the Spanish squad jumping up and down with the trophy.

And Trump — who was accused of hijacking the squad’s big moment in what critics called an “embarrassing” move to remain by their side as they lifted the hardware — is notably nowhere in frame.

Critics on X reacted to the glaring omission from the video, with one critic teasing the White House over “what the entire world saw and laughed at.”

Nobody does it quite like @POTUS & America. 🇺🇸

To everyone who traveled from around the world to join, thanks for experiencing the hype firsthand. Now you know what makes America one of a kind.

Huge thank you to law enforcement & everyone who made it possible.

In a separate reel shared to social media, Trump is carrying the trophy with FIFA President Gianni Infantino as the two make their way over to the winning team.

That clip ends just as Trump walks over to the side of the team.

The videos are two of just three social media posts about the World Cup that Trump has shared since the final whistle.

In the other, Trump referred to the tournament as “the Safest and Most Spectacular World Cup in History” before applauding Andrew Giuliani, the executive director of the White House’s World Cup task force, and Infantino for a “job well done.”

Trump is reportedly hoping that Infantino, his buddy who awarded him the inaugural FIFA Peace Prize late last year, will become the next secretary-general of the United Nations.
