Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayPresident Donald Trump lashed out at his one-time political opponent, former Vice President Kamala Harris, this week while reflecting on his experiences on the 2024 campaign trail.
Speaking with conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt on Monday, Trump hurled an insult at Harris while recalling their presidential debate, which took place on Sept. 10, 2024, in Philadelphia.
“I always complain when that loser from ABC did the debate, and he was so biased ... it was him and an unknown woman, but it was a radical left person,” he said, referring to ABC News journalists David Muir and Linsey Davis, who served as the debate’s moderators.
The president went on to note the debate felt like “two and a half against one,” before adding, “Kamala is the half.”
“I got two people plus a half against me,” he sniped.
Elsewhere in the chat, Trump made it clear he’d have no qualms about moderating a presidential debate in the future.
“I’d love to do it,” he said. “I’m sure the Democrats would be thrilled, but I would certainly moderate ... I get good numbers.”
Hewitt doubled down on those sentiments in a post on X shortly afterward.
“Admit it. If [Trump] moderated one or more of the 2028 GOP presidential debates, the ratings would be double, triple or more than the previous primary debates,” he wrote. “If you want the GOP candidates to get exposure…”
Trump famously refused to debate Harris a second time after numerous analysts, commentators and pollsters deemed the former vice president the winner.

“When a fighter loses, they say, ‘I want a rematch,’” he told Fox News in a phone interview a day after the debate. “I won the debate. I don’t know that I want to do another debate.”
Trump’s appearance comes as speculation about Harris launching a 2028 presidential run is ramping up.
In a February conversation with podcaster Sharon McMahon, the former vice president suggested she was keeping an open mind about a second White House bid.
“I haven’t decided,” she said. “I might.”
