Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayAfter spending almost 10 years living on a sailboat, Jase and Jolene brought everything they had learned about small space living into the design of their dream home on land. In this episode, we tour their incredible compact coastal home in Tasmania, Australia. Built from a kitset and heavily modified to suit their lifestyle, this 68m² home is raised on poles to work with the steep section, capture the water views and create a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature. Jason completed around 90% of the build himself, including the custom timber cabinetry, clever storage solutions, built-in lounge, creative home office and many of the handcrafted details that make this home so unique. Inside, the layout is open, warm and highly efficient, with a beautiful kitchen, concrete benchtops, a serving window to the deck, combined bathroom and laundry, composting toilet, spacious bedroom and a large wraparound deck for outdoor living. This home is a wonderful example of how tiny house principles, DIY building, compact design and intentional living can come together in a slightly larger small home. After years of life at sea, Jase and Jolene have created a beautiful coastal sanctuary and a deeply personal place to call home. We hope you enjoy the full tour of this clever and inspiring small home in Tasmania.
