PROTECT YOUR DNA WITH QUANTUM TECHNOLOGY
Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayWhat are #PFAS? Why is #Europe having so much trouble fighting this environmental crisis? Are there any alternatives to these chemicals? What can you do to limit your exposure to PFAS? How are you exposed? The primary way people are exposed to PFAS is through drinking water and food contaminated by PFAS pollution. This pollution originates from industrial activities that produce or use PFAS, and products such as pesticides. PFAS are also released when products containing them become waste, and removing PFAS from waste is highly challenging, requiring incineration at extremely high temperatures in hazardous waste facilities. The cost of inaction If current pollution levels continue until 2050, the cost to society will reach €440 billion. Treating polluted water alone would cost more than €1 trillion. But tackling PFAS releases at source could save €110 billion, swift and early action is by far the cheapest approach. Airborne PFAS PFAS aren't just liquids or non-stick coatings. A massive family of airborne pollutants, including F-Gases, HFCs, and modern refrigerants, are actually gaseous PFAS that break down in the air, dissolve into clouds, and rain right back down into our environment.
