PROTECT YOUR DNA WITH QUANTUM TECHNOLOGY
Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayPreviously: The Ghost At The Crossroads Ritual.
There are many, many methods for determining whether your home is haunted, or simply for catching a ghost on camera, but if you’re looking for another one to try, here’s something: A short, easy-to-play ritual game called The Sky Is Blue And I See You. All you need to play is a smartphone with a camera — or, I suppose, any digital device capable of recording video.

A reader tipped me off about this one via email back in September, although they didn’t include any other information about it beyond the name of the game itself, and that they were surprised they hadn’t seen it here yet.

So, I went digging — and as far as I can tell, The Sky Is Blue And I See You is quite a recent game: It seems to have originated in a series of videos posted by a TikTok user going by the name ThatGirlVickky from late March through early April 2025. The game did spread a little bit on TikTok and via YouTube Shorts after this brief time period, but I’ve found no evidence of its existence on the internet prior to Vickky’s videos; furthermore, it seems to exist exclusively in video form — its written instructions don’t appear to have been posted anywhere independently of the videos as of this writing. (Until now, of course.)
Of course, that doesn’t mean The Sky Is Blue And I See You didn’t exist prior to this TikTok user’s videos; the user — or, more accurately, the user’s little sister, per the series’ narrative — could have learned it by word of mouth offline, and then been responsible for its online arrival via these videos. But equally likely is that the whole thing is a creation of the TikTok user — a short piece of narrative storytelling meant to blur the lines between fact and fiction. We’ve seen it before. We’ll see it again. Either option could easily be the case, so the jury’s still out on its actual origins.
In any event, per a comment from the TikTokker in question on one of the videos, the point of this game is “to summon a baby’s face and to record it with your phone.” That’s especially interesting to me — because that, combined with how the game itself is played right down to the chant you’re meant to speak while playing!), almost makes it seem as if it’s an evolution of a much older ritual/urban legend game: Blue Baby, Baby Blue. It feels in many ways like the natural progression of this older game — what Blue Baby, Baby Blue may have become in the era of smartphones.
So, for those who want written instructions for The Sky Is Blue And I See You, here’s how to play. But as always:
Play at your own risk.
Players:
- One principal.
Requirements:
- A smartphone or other device capable of recording video.
- A space. Somewhere indoors. A home. Your home.

Instructions:
Preparing:
- Begin at any time.
- Go to your chosen location. Bring your camera.
- If there are multiple rooms in your chosen location, choose one in which to start.
- Go to that room. Bring your camera.
Recording:
- Turn the camera on. Begin recording.
- Point the camera at the ceiling. Watch the frame. What do you see? Take note.
- While pointing the camera at the ceiling, speak aloud the following words: “The sky is blue.”
- Now: Slowly, tilt the camera down, until the shot frames the room itself. While moving the camera, speak aloud the following words: “And I see you.”
- Watch the frame. What do you see? Take note.
- If there are multiple rooms in your chosen location, you may choose another room now, if you like. If you do, keep the camera rolling. Do NOT stop recording.
- Go that room. Bring your camera. Keep it rolling. Do NOT stop recording.
- Again: Point the camera at the ceiling.
Take note.
- You may repeat this process for as many rooms there are in your chosen location — if that is what you wish to do.
- When you have recorded footage in all of the rooms, or when you otherwise wish to stop, stop recording and turn the camera off.
Viewing:
- Later — when you are somewhere safe — watch the footage.
- What do you see?
- Take note.
- But know this, too: Whatever you may see… they have also seen you.
- The sky is blue.
- And I see you.

Additional Notes:
You may play using a smartphone, or not. Most players find a smartphone to be the most easily accessible device with which to play; however, any other camera capable of recording video may also be acceptable — digital or analog.
You may play in your own home, or not. Most players find playing within their own home to be the most accessible way to play — and, perhaps, the most informative; however, any other indoor space you wish to examine may also be acceptable — home or not.
Do NOT attempt to play this game outdoors.
Spectators may be present while playing. However, ensure that they do not cross into the frame as you are recording.
You may record as many or as few rooms within your chosen location as you like. However, ensure that you DO NOT stop recording in the middle of a sequence. You MUST complete an entire room — you MUST say, in its entirety, “The sky is blue, and I see you” — before stopping. ONLY stop if you have completed one room and NOT started another.
Regarding What You May Or May Not See:
You may see something while recording — or you may not. You may see something in your footage — or you may not.
Something may happen in your environment while recording — or it may not.
Whatever happens, finish the shot.
You may see, at some point, a face — a small face. A child’s face. A baby’s face.
But remember: Looks can be deceiving.
A face, it may be — but it may not belong to a baby at all.
Just what did you find?
And what found you?
