What Are We Going To Do About That?

There some very large businesses on this planet. I am talking about companies like Exxon which did 333 billion last year, drug companies like Pfizer, media conglomerates like Paramount, and the money lenders, banks like JPMorgan which buys and sells an average of $44 billion worth of stocks for clients every single day across global markets.

And they are siding with Trump, who … is on the take for his family and allies. Big pharma, big oil, and big media have decided it will be cheaper to buy off one man and his family, than pay back all the money they have stolen from American citizens. That’s the math of it. Greed disease enabled by a government on the take is why we are where we are in the USA today – a country whose standard of living has been declining for about forty-five years.

The decline began as a consequence President Reagan laws which enabled the accumulation of massive wealth through “Reaganomics,” a set of policies centered on slashing top income and corporate tax rates, deregulating major industries, weakening labor unions, and shifting antitrust enforcement to favor large-scale corporate mergers.

1996 dawned the internet. It was called the Internet Super Highway. The biggest mistake we made as a government and people back then was allowing businesspeople to own the facilities to broadcast over this highway. It could have and should been considered a public utility. Then every citizen would own a share of the dominant search engine, Google, and social media apps like Facebook and Twitter. That’s how the tech billionaires gained a foothold over us all. Now that foothold has been amplified to what we know as the wealth gap.

Today, Elon Musk SpaceX placed speed caps on military-grade Starlink (Starshield) terminals in Ukraine, affecting devices traveling faster than roughly 100 mph. So now this tech bros has got the power of a warmaker. Did you see the movie Aviator, with Leonardo Di Caprio playing Howard Hughes? The greatest generation that fought WW2 took Hughes to court for potentially profiteering during WW2. They were wrong about Hughes in the movie, but their outrage is historically accurate. Do we really have to go through WW3 to learn how to reign in greed disease and get back to a country that is truly “by the people, for the people”?

Elon Musk has now spent approximately $366 million on federal political groups during the 2025–2026 election cycle. Larry Ellison and his sons now own Paramount, CBS, CBS News, MTV, CNN, HBO, and Warner Bros due to a merger Trump approved and got paid off for as well. Trump and the Republicans have cozied up to today’s billionaire tech bros, placing their interests above ours. They are all getting paid off to do that. We can see the payoffs in Bitcoin. Billions not millions. This all has nothing do do with left versus right or vice versa. That is a myth the GOP would like you to believe.

The bottom 50% of U.S. households now hold roughly 2.5% of the nation’s total wealth (about $4.2 trillion ). This amount equals the combined wealth of roughly 100 of the richest men in the USA. One hundred people have as much money as the sum of 200 million Americans. The GOP is fine with that. Are you? And they’ve magnified the wealth gap by cutting taxes on the billionaires.

But Trump’s GOP did not stop there. They’ve closed hospitals. They’ve closed the Board of Education. they reduced safetly standards for air, water and food processing. They want us dumb, sick, broke and with AI robots coming, dead will be fine for their bottom lines too. We are cattle to Trump and the GOP and treated as such.

This is about exactly what it appears to be about: the uber rich versus the rest of us, from the destitute to the struggling to get by to the middle class and even upper middle class. It’s all of us versus those top those 100 billionaires.

Billionaires live and breathe the same as we all do. They are not gods. The money the have stolen from us, their power to control our destiny, can revert to us if we do November right.
