Orgo-Life the new way to the future

President Donald Trump on Thursday may have given Democrats some fresh material to work into their campaign ads during next year’s midterm elections.

While many analysts believe rising prices played a big part in the overwhelming Democratic victories during this week’s elections, the president urged people to stop talking about it.

“I don’t want to hear about the affordability, because right now, we’re much less,” he said as he touted a Walmart Thanksgiving dinner package that costs 25% less than last year’s version.

That meal, however, contains fewer items than last year’s bundle and includes more generic items instead of national brands.

Ironically, just one day earlier, Trump had a completely different take on affordability as he urged Republicans to mention it more often.

“They have this new word called ‘affordability,’” Trump said during a Fox News interview. “And they don’t talk about it enough.”

Now, however, he said he doesn’t want to hear about it.

Critics called out the president for ignoring what remains a significant problem for millions of Americans.

They fired back on X:

"I don't want to hear about the affordability," is a quote that, I'm guessing, may appear in a Democratic ad or 2 next year. Telling people life is much more affordable, when their daily experience is otherwise, is certainly a...choice (espec on day Musk gets a $1 trillion deal) https://t.co/WOEXFHj2uR

I'm looking forward to the ads of Trump saying "So I don't want to hear about the affordability" and Trump morphing into Mike Lawler. Will be a fun midterm! https://t.co/87yfxyNcrX

Here’s the soundbite that will be in ads for lots of Democrats next year

Between saying crap like this and bragging about his marble bathroom and $300 million ballroom, while trying to cut off food stamps, I’m not sure the DNC could script it better if they tried https://t.co/suGMmshpgd

“I don’t want to hear about affordability” says the most out of touch president in modern history.

And yes, utility bills are way up and groceries are far too expensive. https://t.co/JNoyMeODWc

Add affordability to the words Trump doesn’t want to be reminded of along with sharks, windmills, MRIs, Ivana, and Epstein.

"So I don't want to hear about the affordability."

As someone who voted for Trump three times, this guy does not seem to be getting it. Does he actually have a clue how badly the middle class is being hollowed out?

Lame duck if he doesn't get this sorted out. @JDVance https://t.co/f2jYAl9Q2n

Trump just lied about prices and then said “I don't want to hear about the affordability.” Do you hear that America? Trump couldn’t care less about your rising costs. But don’t worry! His billionaire friends are doing just fine. pic.twitter.com/kzcsIcj7fX

Trump saying "I don't want to hear about affordability" is a real gift. Usually he exists outside of the realm and logic of "gaffes" but that one is gonna get a lot of play.

"I don't want to hear about the affordability." That plus a clip of his roaring 20s party replete with the flapper in a glass, the bulldozers taking down the East wing and the new marble bathroom, and you've got an ad all teed up @dccc https://t.co/bDbyRcJxAP
