Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by Adpathway“Late Show” host Stephen Colbert sounded the alarm on Tuesday after President Donald Trump not only resurrected his false claims about the 2020 election but also made new threats about future votes.
Trump claimed during a podcast interview that he won Minnesota three times.
Trump called the state “rigged” and urged Republicans to take over the elections in Minnesota and other places where he lost.
“The Republicans should say, ‘We wanna take over,’” Trump said. “We should take over the voting in at least, many, 15 places. The Republicans ought to nationalize the voting.”
“That’s right!” Colbert said, like a game show host announcing a segment. “We’ve reached the rigging elections phase of fascism.”
He then offered some advice to the president.
“My god! 2020 is six years ago,” Colbert said. “They recounted the ballots twice. You lost both times. You are currently president again. Let it go.”
But Trump is showing no sign of letting it go.
In fact, Colbert said, “It gets more insane.”
See how it all played out in this Tuesday night “Late Show” segment:
