Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayThis week we visit Aynslie’s stunning mortgage-free tiny home, set within a beautiful five-acre micro community beside the river. Built over two years with help from talented friends, this tiny house is full of creativity, colour, clever design and personality. Aynslie began her tiny house journey with very little building experience, joking that only a few years ago she didn’t know what a hammer was. Now, she has created a home that is completely her own, filled with stained glass windows, recycled timber, theatre lights, smart storage, a hidden pulley TV, a home office loft, a rooftop wine deck and even a special outdoor enclosure for her very spoiled cat. Her tiny home is part of a small intentional community where friends share gardens, animals, food, potluck dinners and a more sustainable way of living. With minimal rent, no mortgage and a strong connection to the land and people around her, Aynslie has found a wonderfully affordable and resilient way to live. We hope you enjoy the tour of this magical self-built tiny home. ❤️ If you enjoy our show and would like to help support our work, please consider supporting us on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/livingbig 🌟 Our Socials and Links: https://linktr.ee/livingbig 💡 Find out more about this tiny house and others on our website: https://www.livingbiginatinyhouse.com/ Chapters 00:00 Introduction 00:30 Meet Aynslie 00:44 The five-acre micro community 01:43 How Aynslie came to tiny house living 02:26 Learning to build from scratch 03:16 Designing a creative tiny home 03:51 Stained glass windows and unique details 05:03 Wraparound deck and outdoor living 05:22 Cat enclosure and rooftop wine deck 06:12 Another tiny home on the property 06:34 Size, services and garden life 07:51 Community meals and shared living 08:25 Interior tour begins 09:40 Theatre lights and Shakespeare details 11:07 Split-level lounge and recycled floors 11:58 Antique fireplace and storage couch 12:50 Hidden pulley TV 13:09 Compact kitchen with live-edge timber 14:06 Hidden spice rack and stair storage 14:43 Office and library loft 15:39 Clever bathroom layout 17:00 Cosy bedroom with stained glass 18:29 Pull-out wardrobe 18:55 What it feels like to live here 20:40 Cost of the build 21:05 What’s next for Aynslie 21:37 Final thoughts 🌟 Please subscribe for more videos on tiny houses, architecture, DIY, design, and sustainable, off-grid living.
