In this conversation, Ky Dickens shares some of the most astonishing evidence and discoveries from her work on The Telepathy Tapes, and how the whole experience changed her relationship to death itself. She starts with the interstitium, a system in the body discovered by scientists in New York who were testing a camera. For years, what they were seeing had been dismissed as cracks inside cells, an artifact of collagen drying out once tissue was removed. It turned out to be a vast network of fluid connecting all the cells, organs, and systems in the body, larger than the cardiovascular system. When the doctors presented it, practitioners in the Eastern world said: we have described this for thousands of years. Now you can see it and prove it. Then she describes a telepathy experiment documented in Chicago. Participants were not just in separate rooms but in different states. A non-speaking young man in Chicago was able to spell out, exactly, a word flashing on a screen in Oregon, a word neither he nor his communication partner could see. The likelihood of that happening by chance was trillions to one. What made it possible, Ky explains, was not a lab. It was trust.
