The massive power blackout in San Francisco sparked traffic chaos after Waymo robotaxis became stranded in the streets of the California city.

Darkness took over the Bay Area Saturday night, leaving 130,000 PG&E customers – about 30 percent of the city – without power.

Power was restored later that night to 95,000 customers, but many locals had to resort to candlelight to eat their dinners, while others spared battery life from their electronic devices to use light to get through the night.
