Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwaySome conservatives condemned President Donald Trump’s personal attack on Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) Friday after the president — who’s been married three times himself — criticized Massie for remarrying after the death of his first wife.
Massie announced last week that he had been legally married to his wife, Carolyn Grace Moffa, since October. His first wife, Massie’s “high school sweetheart” Rhonda Howard Massie, died in June 2024.
“I have four adult children, who are all married to wonderful people, and three grandchildren from my blessed 31 year marriage to Rhonda who I still miss every day,” Massie wrote in a post announcing his marriage to Moffa.

Trump took a jab at Massie’s marriage Friday night on Truth Social.
“Did Thomas Massie, sometimes referred to as Rand Paul Jr., because of the fact that he always votes against the Republican Party, get married already??? Boy, that was quick!,” Trump wrote.

“No wonder the Polls have him at less than an 8% chance of winning the Election. Anyway, have a great life Thomas and (?). His wife will soon find out that she’s stuck with a LOSER!” he continued.
The thrice-married Trump reportedly had an affair with model Marla Maples while married to Ivana Trump, and allegedly had another with adult film actress Stormy Daniels while married to Melania Trump.
The two Republicans have been feuding in recent days over files related to the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Trump lashed out at those he called “stupid” Republicans, including Massie, for joining a petition to force a vote on the release of those files.
Several conservative voices have spoken up for Massie and against Trump’s brazen marriage commentary.
The president’s former senior legal advisor, Jenna Ellis, denounced Trump’s attack Saturday on X, saying “some things are still sacred and should still be beyond this kind of political mud-slinging.”
“I know personally from my friendship of more than a decade with Massie how incredibly difficult it was to find himself suddenly a widower and losing his best friend. I have prayed for him every day,” Ellis wrote.

Conservative X commentator account ThePatrioticBlonde sarcastically said “how presidential.”
Outspoken Trump critic and former Illinois Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R) said the attack “is beyond the pale” and “pure evil.”
“Massie and I weren’t very close but he’s a good man and I wish the best. Trump is evil to the core,” Kinzinger said.
Right-wing commentator Evan Kilgore called Trump’s attack “disgusting,” later adding that “was low, even for President Trump.”
