Trump pointed to new crime data showing robberies down another 20% and murders down another 23% in 2026, saying violent crime has continued to fall under his administration. The president also highlighted an 80-year low in law enforcement deaths and criticized New York Gov. Kathy Hochul over the state’s crime policies, including its no-cash-bail law. Trump urged New Yorkers to support Republican candidates, including Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman, who is challenging Hochul in November.
