MS Now reported breaking news that FBI Director Kash Patel was in Russia – Except that he was at Liberty University.

MS Now is as dependable today as they always were.

On Wednesday, the far-left network reported that Kash Patel had landed in Russia for mysterious talks.

Top MS Now justice and intelligence reporter Ken Dilanian broke the breathtaking news this afternoon in a MS Now breaking report.

Ken Dilanian: “We don’t know what Kash Patel is doing in Russia. And that’s one of things that is concerning our FBI sources. They don’t know either. The FBI is not saying anything about this. I asked them for a comment on our reporting. They have not gotten back to me. What we know is there’s a two-day trip scheduled. He’s going to Moscow and St. Petersburg… It has not happened since 2018 when Robert Mueller went to Russia to talk about counter-terrorism cooperation.”

But the surprise was on the loons at MS Now.

The FBI this afternoon released photos of Kash Patel at Liberty University.

Unfortunately for MS Now, the FBI posted photos of Director Kash Patel at Liberty University.

Bill Melugin reposted the FBI response.

Ben Williamson weighed in.

I have had many strange experiences in life, but in tier 1 had to be seeing a clip of MS Now reporting breaking news that Kash Patel has “just landed in Russia” – right as I’m receiving pics of Kash Patel doing a law enforcement appreciation event today in Lynchburg, Virginia https://t.co/U0Cn3LfL6R

Later Wednesday, Ken Dilanian delivered an on-air retraction.

“I want to correct reporting from earlier today. I reported that two sources had told us that FBI director Kash Patel had landed in Russia for a planned trip that had been reported about recently. We’ve since learned that Patel did not, in fact, land in Russia today and remains in the U.S. …The timing of any potential trip remains unclear. Again, we regret this error and we are transparent about when we make errors. Back to you,” Ken Dilanian said.

Ken Dilanian has admitted the "Patel in Russia" scoop isn’t real, but, of course, he had to pat himself on the back while doing so, "I want to correct reporting from earlier today. Back to you."
