Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayMike Lindell, MyPillow CEO, a candidate for Minnesota governor and a notorious ally of President Donald Trump, was served with legal documents during a live TV interview at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Gaylord, Texas, on Thursday.
Lindell was speaking with Michael Casey, a correspondent for O’Keefe Media Group, who shared the clip on social media.
“Hi, sorry to interrupt,” the unidentified woman said.
“We’re on TV here, please,” Lindell repeatedly said while trying to shove the women out of frame.
“I know, you’ve been served,” the woman replied, even as Lindell refused to take the documents she tried to hand him.
“What are you serving him with?” Casey asks the woman.
“You’ve been served, so you have to take this. Thank you,” the woman said to Lindell.
After much back-and-forth, Lindell finally grabbed the papers and tossed them on the floor.
The incident occurred just one day after Lindell lost a bid to overturn the verdict of a defamation lawsuit brought against him by Eric Coomer of Dominion Voting Systems.
On Wednesday, U.S. District Judge Nina Wang denied Lindell’s motion to overturn the jury’s verdict against him and his media company, Frankspeech, which found the parties liable for defaming Coomer, MS NOW reported.
It is unclear if the papers Lindell was served on Thursday were related to the defamation lawsuit.
CORRECTION: This story has been amended to reflect that a correspondent for O’Keefe Media Group, not OAN, was speaking with Lindell when he was served.
