Municipal politics is where grassroots change begins.
One courageous candidate can influence an entire community.
Now more than ever, local government matters. School boards, town councils, and regional governments directly impact our children, our freedoms, our communities, and our future.
As members and supporters of Action4Canada, we believe in faith, family, and freedom. We cannot afford to stand by while others shape the direction of our communities and country.
Action4Canada is urging strong, principled Canadians to seriously consider running for office in these upcoming elections.
You do not need to be a career politician. You simply need courage, conviction, and a willingness to stand for truth and accountability. Whether for council, mayor, or school board trustee, your voice matters.
Becoming a candidate is easier than many realize. Contact your local municipal clerk’s office to learn about eligibility and nomination requirements.
Here are practical steps you can take right now:
- Support strong candidates that reflect your values: Encourage principled individuals in your community to run.
- Get involved in campaigns: Volunteer for door-knocking, phone calls, and other grassroots efforts.
- Donate: Help campaigns you believe in succeed.
- Pray
- Serve as a scrutineer: Help provide essential oversight at polling stations and during vote counting to ensure fairness and prevent fraud.
- Vote and mobilize others: Encourage family, friends, and neighbours to vote. Organize rides, assist seniors, and help those with mobility challenges get to the polls.
Now is the time to engage. Now is the time to lead. Now is the time to stand for faith, family, and freedom. Will you answer the call?
