“Late Show” host Stephen Colbert said President Donald Trump’s first year in office has been marked by one outrageous move after another.

But it’s hard to keep track of it all “because every single day, there’s some new Trump horror dominating the headlines.”

Colbert said it’s been exhausting.

“And not just for us,” he deadpanned as he rolled footage of the president appearing to nod off at events. “That’s why Trump’s always falling asleep.”

Trump himself marked the anniversary with a lengthy press conference that Colbert described as “the mad ramblings of a syphilitic brain.”

“Let’s go to the tape,” he said and played footage of the president holding up printouts with photos of migrants accused of crimes.

At times, Trump didn’t speak as he thumbed through the images, holding some up for the media.

“You’re not getting bored with this, right?” Trump asked.

Colbert was ready with an answer.

“Is it bored when your testicles snap up against your pelvis while your heart beats like a tweaked-out woodpecker and you’re worried for your grandchildren that haven’t even been born yet? Is that bored?” he asked. “Then no, I’m not bored.”

He also had a “follow-up question” for the president.

“Is it still technically sundowning if it happens at 2 o’clock in the afternoon?” he wondered aloud. “I’m asking for an entire world.”
