Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) posted playfully on social media amid reports President Donald Trump and his team pressured the MAGA star to pull her support for efforts to release the full trove of Jeffrey Epstein documents.

Boebert, a Trump loyalist, was one of four Republicans who sided with Democrats in signing a petition to force a House vote on releasing the Justice Department’s files on the late sex offender.

Along with an emoji of two wide-open eyes, Boebert shared an X post on Thursday featuring a video of a reporter in Denver, Colorado, calling the congresswoman “brave” for her apparent defiance of Trump.

“By all appearances, Boebert did defy the president, despite the pressure and the reported threats,” said Kyle Clark of 9News, citing The New York Times and CNN’s reporting. “Stood firm against the wishes of her party and her president.”

“It certainly appears that every American who cares about kids and accountability and transparency owes Lauren Boebert their thanks,” he added. (Watch video below.)

The president reached out directly to Boebert about her position, sources told The New York Times.

She was also summoned to a meeting in the White House Situation Room, a space typically reserved for national security crises, with top DOJ officials, CNN reported.

Boebert appeared to confirm the White House meeting in another X post.

“I want to thank White House officials for meeting with me today,” she wrote. “Together, we remain committed to ensuring transparency for the American people.”

On Truth Social on Wednesday, Trump, who was friends with Epstein in the 1990s and early 2000s, blasted both Democrats and “stupid” Republicans for “trying to bring up the Jeffrey Epstein Hoax again.”

Reps. Nancy Mace (S.C.), Marjorie Taylor Greene (Ga.) and Thomas Massie (Ky.) were the three other Republican lawmakers who broke rank with their party to join Democrats in supporting the discharge petition.

Thousands of pages of documents from Epstein’s estate were released by the House Oversight Committee on Wednesday, including some that mentioned Trump.

Trump “knew about the girls,” Epstein wrote in a 2019 email to a journalist months before the disgraced financier died in prison awaiting trial.

The Trump administration has refused to disclose all the DOJ documents, reversing a campaign trail pledge. The House vote on their release is expected next week.
