It’s safe to say that Tiffany Haddish didn’t plan a girls trip to attend President Donald Trump’s Great American State Fair on July Fourth.

But to be fair, it doesn’t seem like many people planned any kind of trip to attend the Independence Day festivities at the National Mall in Washington, D.C., on Saturday — which is precisely why Haddish decided to make fun of it while guest-hosting “Jimmy Kimmel Live” Monday night.

After playing news clips from more right-leaning outlets that were trying to convince their viewers — who have eyes — that there were larger crowds at the fair than it appeared, the montage closed with one attendee getting real about the event.

“This is terrible,” Jeff, a Washington, D.C., resident who attended Trump’s Great American State Fair, admitted to a reporter.

After Jeff dropped that truth bomb, Haddish decided to double down on the event’s seemingly pathetic turnout — which likely acted as salt in the wound for Trump’s ego, considering his obsession with optics, especially in regard to crowd sizes.

And Haddish did so by poking fun at two events in her own life.

“I’mma be honest with y’all, there was more people at my bat mitzvah,” Haddish joked, adding, “I am going to be real honest with you — there was more people at my DUI trial.”

Haddish did indeed have a bat mitzvah on her 40th birthday, after a DNA test revealed her Jewish heritage. She’s also currently embroiled in a court case in Georgia after she was arrested in 2022 for allegedly driving under the influence and falling asleep at the wheel of her vehicle after performing at a Thanksgiving charity event.

It’s unclear how many people actually attended Trump’s fair, which was originally touted as a nonpartisan celebration of America’s 250th anniversary before the president decided to essentially rebrand it as a MAGA rally.

Trump has, of course, boasted about how “packed” the 14-day fair has been — but privately he has reportedly been “enraged” by photos circulating on social media that show poor attendance.

On Sunday, Trump claimed on Truth Social that “422,000 people” showed up to his fair on July Fourth, but noted the event had to be evacuated due to severe weather — which delayed Trump’s speech too.

The temporary evacuation gave Haddish another opportunity to target Trump’s supporters on “Kimmel” Monday.

“Trump was forced to delay his Fourth of July speech due to the hot and stormy weather. In fact, some MAGA fans had to seek shelter in the African American history museum.”

The crowd applauded, to which Haddish quipped: “You’re welcome, again.”

She then delivered a zinger.

“It was so hot outside, a bunch of white grandpas had to learn about Frederick Douglass,” the comedian joked. “Found out that was their cousin.”
