Hi Everyone, 

This took all day, since I really needed time to actually review at least a portion of the 161 files that were released today. Obviously, I couldn’t do them all, but I went through all the titles and downloaded and read and watched enough of them to get a very good sense of this. 

I don’t have much to add here beyond my Youtube description and what I say in the video itself, which is only 30 minutes long. I am not aware of anyone else having actually reviewed the files, although they may have by now. Anyway, this is my first effort at it. 

This is what I wrote for YouTube:

A new tranche of “UFO files” has just been released from Washington, and there’s already a lot of speculation about what it all means. In this video, Richard goes through the material directly—historical documents, space-era transcripts, and recent military ISR cases from the 2020s—to see what’s actually there. Some of it has been public for years. Some of it is potentially interesting. This is a beginning of the process of actually examining the files themselves.

Many people have already trashed this release. I understand that, I understand the disappointment. But as a UFO nerd, there is actually some interesting stuff in here. Definitely not disclosure! Not even close. But for historical/archival purposes, it’s a start.
