We write a lot about the left, the radical left, centrists, and the right, but let’s start calling and labeling them by what they really represent.

Centrists are where both Republicans and Democrats started. The center can realistically be called common sense, and there was a time when Democrats were just left of center, and Republicans were just right of that. There were differences that existed, but negotiations were held, and compromises were reached.

Those times are long past. Realistically, Democrats can no longer even be referred to as the left anymore without the descriptive adjectives of far left or radical left being used to describe them more accurately.

At Palo Alto High School, the radical part emerged yet again when students were taken on a field trip to a mosque, and students were encouraged to wear hijabs and given Qurans, all without the parents’ knowledge or consent.

That insanity prompted a group representing two Jewish parents, three former Jewish students, a Hindu parent, and a Zoroastrian parent to sue the school over claims that the children were exposed to the idea that Islam was aligned with social justice work.

A group called Community Members for Religious Neutrality in Public Schools claims that students participating in the school’s Social Justice Pathway program visited a mosque last fall.

During the visit, they were given copies of the Quran, and female students were encouraged to wear hijabs, which some people view as oppressive to women.

The lawsuit alleges that the district took photos of students and posted them online without parental consent. Palo Alto Unified School District and Palo Alto High School principal Brent Kline were also rightfully named in the lawsuit.

PAUSD Superintendent Jason Glass told the San Francisco Chronicle that the district learned of the lawsuit through news coverage and has not yet been served with any legal documents. He mentioned that he has read the complaint but emphasized that the district cannot confirm any of the allegations.

So, Glass would have everyone believe he only learned about this gross misconduct through news coverage of the lawsuits? If that’s true, it means that he is either the most incompetent district superintendent in a totally incompetent state, or he is lying through his teeth.

Glass said any religious instruction must be academic, not devotional. Typically, practicing Muslim women and girls wear hijabs. He mentioned that the district is currently reviewing its practices.

The parents are seeking an admission from the school district that it was negligent in supervising students and violated both students' privacy rights and parents' right to due process under the law.

The parents are seeking an admission that the district was negligent. They better be seeking a hell of a lot more than that. These people will never learn if they are given nothing more than a slap on the wrist. There must be monetary consequences as well as firings and public exposure for everyone involved.

The parents who filed the lawsuit also claimed that the students were "exposed" to Zahra Billoo, the executive director of the Bay Area office of the Council on American-Islamic Relations. Billoo faced criticism for statements she made in May, in which she urged her supporters to be more discreet in their animosity toward Zionists.

In a video clip, Billoo vomited these words of wisdom.

“Now imagine your LinkedIn profile says, ‘I hate all Zionists.’ Not strategic. Right? You may say that sitting around Kahwah House on a Friday night, but you’re not going to say it on your LinkedIn.”

Billoo also told the Chronicle the lawsuit was “misguided.”

“Public schools and the government have an obligation to remain neutral toward religion, but what neutrality does not mean is shielding students entirely. The job of educators is to teach students and expose them to different worldviews. That’s what happened here.”

Billoo is an Islamic zealot who will say anything to try to defend her hateful point of view. At its core, Islam is not and never has been a religion. It is a barbaric, suppressive political movement that seeks domination and control.

This makes Billoo’s claims all the more pointless and idiotic when she accused the parents of not wanting their children to learn about others.

“One of the most important ways we combat hate is to learn about each other. I am concerned that this group of parents not only wants to counteract that for their own children… but is attempting to intimidate schools and school districts from doing necessary work of educating the next generation.”

What she wants is to spread the lie that Islam is synonymous with peace, which couldn’t be further from the truth. These students and parents were taken advantage of by a school district that is complicit in the spread of a virus that wants to destroy Western Culture.

This must end. Imagine handing out Bibles and vials of Holy Water to Muslim students. Would their parents be understanding, or would there be blood in the streets?

We all know the answer to that.
