Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayI attended a sesshin (Zen meditation retreat) at Yokoji Zen Center in Idyllwild, California, and made this short video during my stay, reflecting on some insights from my practice—mainly, the distinction between thinking and Being. The abbot mentioned in his Dharma talk that Zen practice is essentially a way of moving from thinking to direct experiencing, and that each moment—and everything in it—is our life. What matters most is how we conduct ourselves in each moment. Each moment asks something different of us—some ask us to be relaxed and open, others to be concentrated and focused. By continually being with what is in the present moment, we can come to know more directly what each moment needs most.
