The University of Michigan has fired head football coach Sherrone Moore for cause following a series of alleged off-field incidents that culminated in an arrest in Washtenaw County. According to police reports, Moore was taken into custody after an incident involving a staff member with whom he was allegedly having an affair. Authorities are investigating claims of stalking and an alleged domestic disturbance. Moore has not yet been convicted, and the case remains ongoing.
