Have you noticed that everyone on the left is suddenly talking about healthcare reform as if never even happened? Do they really think no one remembers it? Opposition to Obamacare was so fierce that it helped to spark the Tea Party movement and changed the makeup of Congress.

The truth is that Obamacare was not what the left really wanted. What they really wanted to happen was a complete government takeover of healthcare and now they’re finally admitting it.

Far left Rep. Ro Khanna recently tweeted about ‘Medicare for All’ and talked about it as if it would solve every healthcare issue in the country and save us money at the same time. Sound familiar? Isn’t that what we were told about Obamacare back in the day?

Take a look at Khanna’s tweet below:

A new Yale analysis found Medicare for All would cover every American AND save more than $1 trillion a year, cutting national health care spending by 20%.

It would also mean better pay for doctors, nurses, and healthcare providers. The savings from cutting private insurance and…

The full text of that tweet is:

A new Yale analysis found Medicare for All would cover every American AND save more than $1 trillion a year, cutting national health care spending by 20%.

It would also mean better pay for doctors, nurses, and healthcare providers. The savings from cutting private insurance and Big Pharma profits as well as administrative waste would pay for increased Medicare reimbursement rates and $52 billion in unpaid hospital care.

Medicare for All saves money and lives.

People gave Khanna an earful in response:

Sounds just like the bullshit Obama peddled. Remember this one…“well lower premiums by up to $2500”?

We all know how that turned out. The government taking over healthcare is exactly why it’s so unaffordable.

Go to hell, Ro! pic.twitter.com/2XWKywzcmC

And Obamacare will save everyone money, plus if you like your doctor or your plan, you can keep them! — We've already seen this movie before. We know that's all lies.

He’s such a shameless liar. Leaving aside that the study is garbage per se, many of its supposed savings come from its assumption that doctors and hospitals will be paid *less*. It says this in Table 1. And yet Khanna claims the exact opposite will happen here. Astonishing. https://t.co/isoSFBliRM

The Yale study doesn’t prove Medicare for All will save $1 trillion—it is a model projection, not an observed result, and it depends heavily on ambitious estimates and assumptions. It is has not yet been peer reviewed. It assumes very large cuts in payments to doctors and… https://t.co/eYhCyoMGOT

🚨 Ro Khanna just posted another “Medicare for All saves $1 trillion” post.

The “Yale study” he’s citing is a non-peer-reviewed preprint written by Alison Galvani, the same researcher who previously advised on the bill.

This is not analysis. It’s fan fiction… https://t.co/56MmwzPawg

Next thing you know, Khanna is going to say that if you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor.

Might as well keep the lies coming, right?
