PROTECT YOUR DNA WITH QUANTUM TECHNOLOGY
Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayEric Trump, one of President Donald Trump’s three sons, is getting roasted on social media for failing to read the room when it comes to the nation’s affordability crisis.
As grocery prices continue to rise, and as insurance premiums are set to increase due to the pending expiration of Affordable Care Act credits, Trump touted no-fee transfers of millions in bitcoin.
The comment came as Trump trashed traditional banks, calling them “slow” and “lethargic” as he complained about trying to send money out before 5 p.m. deadlines.
“How is that modern-day finance?” he said during a Fox Business interview, leading to what he indicated was a clear advantage for cryptocurrencies.
“You can send $500 million worth of bitcoin on a Sunday night at, you know, at 11 p.m. while having a glass of wine with your wife for virtually zero fees,” he said.
He called bitcoin “digital gold” and said it would fix all the problems with banking.
But with inflation still an issue across the nation ― and after his father fought to block food-aid benefits from reaching low-income Americans during the government shutdown ― Trump’s praise of bitcoin struck a sour note for many.
They fired back on X:
Maybe you can send $500 million worth of bitcoin on a Sunday night, but most Americans are trying to figure out which bills they can pay with their last $50. https://t.co/QQGjz1BCt1
— Captain Mark Kelly (@CaptMarkKelly) November 13, 2025Wow, how amazing. The people losing healthcare and struggling to afford groceries will be happy to hear this.
— The Great Gig in the Sky (@thegreatgig8) November 13, 2025Yes, you can do this 👇 if you're the president's son and foreign countries are shoveling cash into your pocket for favors from your dad!
But maybe not if you're a middle class American whose health insurance premiums just tripled because your dad doesn't care about them. https://t.co/pPcuIjQSRK
Is that before or after you figure out how you’re going to feed your family without the SNAP payments his father went to the Supreme Court to suspend? Or pay the health care costs his administration has made sure to skyrocket?
I just want to get the sequencing right. https://t.co/ZZTvszivqu
I’m so glad we finally have a solution to that very common problem. Think about all the times when you were trying to transfer half a billion dollars on a weekend night and there were fees.
— Simon Hedlin (@simonhedlin) November 14, 2025What pairs well with "not reading the room"?
— Aaron Haber🍌 (@AaronHaber) November 13, 2025Who among us hasn’t found themselves looking to send half a billion $ in crypto on a Sunday evening only to be stoped from doing so by the exorbitant fees… so glad this is going to be available to all Americans!
— Lib Dunk (@libdunkmedia) November 13, 2025Not sure about you, but sending $500M of bitcoin at any time of the day, while sipping 🍷, isn’t a problem I have.
I'm focused on helping working Texans afford health insurance, groceries, & rent, while Rs focus on billionaires.
The choice in 2026 could not be more clear. https://t.co/RKTxNAlJny
