The latest Ebola outbreak has triggered a travel warning from the US state department.

Officials have strongly urged Americans not to travel to the Democratic Republic of Congo, South Sudan and Uganda.

The “level 4” warning indicates life-threatening risks and means the US government may have extremely limited ability to provide emergency assistance.

The state department also says travel to Rwanda should be reconsidered (level 3 warning).
