Jimmy Kimmel helped his good friend Ben Affleck win big for charity ― all thanks to his tradition of mocking President Donald Trump on one particular holiday.

The comedian and late-night fixture, who also hosts “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire,” assisted Affleck and “Jeopardy!” champion Jamie Ding on their last question when they summoned the “Ask-the-Host” option in the game.

The question was right up Kimmel’s alley, as it asked which set of names were not given to turkeys pardoned by U.S. presidents, a typical Thanksgiving tradition at the White House.

The choices included the names Peanut Butter & Jelly, Tater & Tot, Mac & Cheese, and Spaghetti & Meatball.

“You must be kidding me,” Affleck said when presented with the question.

After Kimmel offered his help, Affleck reluctantly concluded, “We might as well have Jimmy help.”

“Alright, I don’t have to give you any of my fucking thoughts, if you don’t want!” the host fired back.

But Affleck realized that Kimmel was actually the perfect person to answer the question, and the host thought so, too.

“You’re absolutely right,” Kimmel said. “I do a bit about this on the show ― every year.”

Kimmel then said that one set of names on the list didn’t sound familiar, only because he would remember if he’d used it previously to mock the president on his show.

“I could see me adding a big bowl in Donald Trump’s hands and him slurping up the spaghetti and meatballs. That one sounds like it wasn’t the one to me,” he concluded.

Affleck immediately agreed with Kimmel’s take.

“This is the person that would actually be paying attention to every pardoned turkey’s name,” the actor said. “Probably the best person in the world to ask this question to.”

It’s a good thing he listened to his friend ― because Kimmel was right.
