One individual asks: It seems that some states of being are easier to adopt than others. For example, it seems easier to adopt the state of being rich than it is to adopt the state of being poor. A rich person can act and feel poor with no problem. But how can a poor person feel or act rich, especially if they can’t provide food for their children?
All right. Well, there are several assumptions in that question that are not necessarily accurate.
First and foremost, remember that it always, and I mean always, comes down to what you believe to be true about yourself.
So, the idea of saying it is more difficult to believe you are rich than to believe you are poor is, in a sense, a fallacy, because it still comes down to what you believe you are capable of doing and what you believe is real for you, based on how you think of yourself and what you believe to be true about yourself.
Now, we understand that there are outer reflections and outer symbols that say, “Well, we don’t have enough food.” But again, remember, a lot of this comes from buying into certain ideas and systems that have been set up on your planet that make it seem like there might be a lack of things, but that is not really, essentially, true.
It is only when you buy into those things that you find yourself in those situations and circumstances.
So, the idea that it is easier for a rich person to believe or act as if they are poor is also somewhat false. I know what you mean by the question, but it is not really true that it is easier for a rich person to believe or act as if they are poor.
That is actually not true. Even though someone may be acting as if they are poor, their fundamental inner beliefs do not allow them to truly believe that they are.
No matter how much they may try to act poor, they will always hold on to the belief that they can stop acting that way at any moment.
Whereas the belief system of someone who truly believes they are poor does not necessarily contain the belief that they can stop acting that way at any moment or stop being poor at any moment.
The so-called rich person can stop acting poor at any moment, according to their belief system. That is the fundamental difference between those two belief systems: one does not believe they can necessarily stop experiencing that condition, while the other believes they can stop experiencing the concept of being poor whenever they wish.
So, they are never truly believing that they are poor. That is a big difference in terms of the belief system.
But experiencing what you call poverty, based on something you believe to be true about yourself, can also have positive and negative reasons.
Sometimes people will choose to experience those things for a variety of positive reasons. They can serve as life lessons, help them make other kinds of choices eventually, and perhaps even serve as a lesson to other people around them. Those people may see that they are capable of extracting themselves from that experience and proving to others that, no matter how far down you may seem to be, there is always the possibility of changing, shifting, and extracting yourself from that experience.
But fundamentally, the simple answer is that it always comes back to what you believe to be true about yourself. It is not inevitable. It is not something that cannot be changed.
The difficulty you may experience in changing that only has to do with what you believe to be true about yourself. It is not an automatic, inherently true fact.
Speaking of synchronicity, sometimes people comment because they can hear the roosters in the background.
Yes.
Is that the roosters all reminding us to continue waking up?
Yes. It’s kind of funny.
Synchronicity often is. It has a sense of humor, in a sense.
Well, it probably doesn’t have a mind of its own, right? So, it is part of the automatic functioning, but it does present the idea that waking up also contains a sense of humor.
Is it always important to follow through or act upon synchronicity, and is synchronicity always positive?
Synchronicity can express itself negatively for positive reasons. In other words, you can have synchronicity bring you opportunities to act on things that are clearly in your mind, most likely representative of things to move on, act on, and move forward with—opportunities that represent your passion.
But remember that synchronicity can, like anything, serve double duty.
Synchronicity, for a positive reason, can act negatively by preventing you from acting on things that are not your path of least resistance, that are not your passion.
So, while sometimes people may say, “Well, I seem to be having difficulty actually acting on these things,” the number one thing to check first is whether you are dampening your ability to do so through a fear-based belief.
But if you clear that belief, if it is there, and still find yourself unable to move in a certain direction that would seem to be your passion, and yet you are prevented over and over again from moving forward along that path or making that choice, that can be synchronicity acting negatively for a positive reason. It is simply saying to you, “This is not your choice right now that serves you best.”
So, you have to develop the discernment to understand, once you clarify your own belief system, the difference between when synchronicity is saying, “Yes, act on that,” by making it easier to do so, and when it is saying, “No, don’t act on this now,” even though it might somewhat represent your passion, because it is not the step you need to take at this moment along the path of least resistance.
Look for what you can act on that represents your passion at that moment, or some passion at that moment, and what allows you to be acted upon. But don’t keep banging your head against the wall when synchronicity is telling you this is not the step to take at this moment. It is showing you the path you need to take by removing your ability to act on certain things at that moment. This is a negative form of synchronicity for a positive reason.
Sometimes things will show up, and you can’t tell whether it’s a positive or negative synchronicity. It may look like a positive synchronicity, but if you take that step, things come back to you that show you it was actually fear that influenced your choice, or that you made the choice out of fear rather than empowerment. How can you tell the difference?
Well, again, as I just explained, it is up to you to examine whether you are unable to move forward because of a fear-based belief.
But if you have cleared that fear-based belief from yourself and still cannot move forward, then that is a good indication that it is negative synchronicity saying, “This is not the path. This is not the step to take right now. Go in another direction.”
So, it is actually easy to tell once you clear yourself and recognize, through honest self-investigation, that you are not the one dampening your progress through a fear-based belief.
If someone shows up in your life and it appears to be a really positive thing, but once you get involved with that person, you find out that it is actually quite negative, what does that mean?
Again, it is still there for a positive reason, so you can learn something positive from it.
If nothing else, recognize the signs that these are not the kinds of people you want to interact with. That is a positive lesson learned from something negative coming into your life, because you are using it in a positive way.
That is why the fourth step of the formula is so important, so critical: always remain in a positive state so that even if something manifests in your life that you objectively do not prefer, you can still learn something positive from it.
By staying in a positive state, you will learn something positive from the experience. You will know that it is there for a reason that could serve you. And if you stay in that positive state, you will be able to use what you do not prefer in a way that benefits you.
And where does discernment fit into this idea?
Well, again, if you are really honest in your own self-investigation, you can know the difference between excitement and anxiety. You can develop the discernment to recognize more easily what is appropriate for you and what is not.
You will recognize the vibrations more quickly through honest self-investigation and by clearing yourself of fear-based beliefs.
It will simply come down to an expansion of your senses, allowing you to tell the difference between what is and is not vibrationally compatible with you.
Even if something shows up, you can use it in a way that is vibrationally compatible with you, regardless of whether the thing itself or the person involved ever changes. That does not matter.
You can still recognize what is not vibrationally compatible with you in its own essence while using its presence to move forward in a way that is vibrationally compatible with you.
So, the difference between the idea of presence and essence is easy to discern. The more you clear yourself of fear-based beliefs, the more you will expand your ability to sense what is not vibrationally compatible with you while maintaining the ability to use it in a way that is vibrationally compatible.
Hello, Bashar. What is the spiritual purpose of physical beauty? By physical beauty, I mean not only appearance, but also scent, voice, charm, intelligence, and the inner world. What do we gain spiritually from being drawn to beauty the way many of us are?
Well, you are being drawn to the concept of balance.
Some people will reflect it in certain ways, and they do not necessarily have to be physiologically beautiful to express some form of beauty.
The idea is that you are being drawn to the balance between the polarities. You are being drawn to the third point, the trinity point, which allows you to experience within yourself the potential of the balance that you contain.
